ORCID
Definition
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a non-profit organization which manages ORCID IDs which are unique identifiers for researchers. The ORCID ID allows for both researcher disambiguation and a method of accurately associating authors with all their works regardless of how their name and institutional affiliations change over time.
