The Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) office for Region 6 is located at Hardin Library for the Health Sciences at the University of Iowa. By collaborating, training, and funding over 1,100 health centers, health departments, community organizations, as well as medical, public, and school libraries in a seven state region, the office supports the mission of NNLM: to provide U.S. researchers, health professionals, public health workforce, educators, and the public with equal access to biomedical and health information resources and data.
Region 6 serves the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

NNLM Book Club Debuts
You are invited to join us for the first NNLM Book Discussion! We will read Doing Harm: The Truth About How Bad Medicine and Lazy Science Leave Women Dismissed, Misdiagnosed, and Sick! After acquiring the book in your preferred format, you can join us any time between May 2 and July 31 to participate and earn 4 CE from MLA.
NNLM Book Discussion offers librarians and library staff interested in better understanding health issues in their communities face an opportunity to explore topics with other professionals and earn Continuing Education Credit. It is not necessary to engage in Moodle discussions for all three months, although you are welcome to do so. Learn more and register here.
