Subaward Project

Professional Development Award Y3 J.Hubert and B. Beeman

In our role as a Community Health Workers in McDonald, Newton, Jasper in Missouri and Benton County in Arkansas has us constantly searching for support resources that help our clients manage debilitating diagnosis, helping to decrease cost of care, and providing a safety net while working through barriers. The communities we assist are underserved and our rural health clinics are underrepresented. The CHW Conferences create a space to build relationships with other Community Health workers and preserve those relationships already made. This is motivating and allows us to become better connected across the state. The education that is awarded at the conference will allow me to bring back information that will benefit my organization.
