The Southern Chapter of the Medical Library Association holds annual meetings in various member states throughout NNLM Region 2. The 2023 Annual Meeting is being held in New Orleans, Louisiana in conjunction with the South Central Chapter of the Medical Library Association. These meetings are intended to bring medical library professionals together from around the region(s) to promote the importance of health librarianship and share insights with colleagues to further the profession. These meetings include continuing education courses, presentations of papers and research posters, networking with colleagues, and planned social activities to strengthen and empower health science librarians.
