“OOA’s 122nd Annual Convention” Oklahoma Osteopathic Association


The Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences Medical Library has been invited to present an educational exhibit on the National Library of Medicine databases at the "OOA's 122nd Annual Convention" in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, sponsored by the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association's Continuing Medical Education in-person CME for physicians, physician assistants, educators, and medical residents. The American Osteopathic Association has accredited the OOA to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The OOA has assigned this program a maximum of 27.5 AOA Category 1-A and AAFP credits. The exhibit will present information on a number of health subjects through demonstrations using PubMed and MedlinePlus, as well as library literature, including family medicine; type 2 diabetes; heart disease; obstructive myocardial disease; OMM; and effective prescribing.
