This webinar will introduce you to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) and the wealth of free resources available to you. NIEHS has several tools that will help increase your awareness of knowledge of environmental health sciences including new literature portals on climate change and human health, PFAS and related chemicals, and disaster research response. You will also learn how the NIEHS Library can be your partner in providing environmental health information.
Please join NNLM and guest speaker, Erin Knight. Erin is the Library Manager at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
Erin has been at NIEHS since 2012 and leads the team of 5 librarians. NIEHS is part of the National Institutes of Health and shares a catalog and a wealth of electronic resources with the main NIH Library.
The NIEHS Library is under contract with VISTA Technology Services to provide a full complement of library services and resource management.
Before coming to NIEHS, Erin was the Library & Information Services at The Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences and was also Head Librarian at the Illinois Natural History Survey Library at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Erin received her M.S.L.S. from The Catholic University in Washington, D.C. She is a member of ANCHASL, MAC-MLA, NCLA, and SLA.
