Subaward Project
NNLM Region 5 Professional Development Award to Jill Barr-Walker - UCSF-SFGH
I am requesting funding to attend the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting in Atlanta. The theme of this year's conference is "Creating the Healthiest Nation: Overcoming Social and Ethical Challenges" and is an opportunity to engage with public health experts, collaborate with other advocates and grow professionally. The conference includes four days of in-person sessions on public health topics of particular interest to me as a health sciences librarian working in an urban safety net hospital with a user population of public health advocates, researchers, and clinicians.
