Professional Development Award Y3 J. Romano

The Electronic Resources and Libraries (ER&L) annual conference in Austin, Texas provides opportunities for resource management and reference librarians to learn improved methods for providing their users access to biomedical content.  ER&L achieves this via educational sessions, case studies and panel discussions focused on discovery systems, data management, transformative agreements and other relevant topics.  Conference attendance enables librarians to share newfound knowledge that will help medical students succeed in education and research goals, as well as increase health literacy within their local communities, particularly those in underserved populations.
