This session is intended for library workers in San Diego County (CA), including San Diego Circuit Libraries though all are welcome to attend.

Objectives:
  • Follow ethical and effective practices for responding to library users' health information questions

  • Identify reliable health information sources at the layperson level

  • Explain the importance of teaching evaluation skills to library users as a means of counteracting health misinformation

  • Recognize resources for building resilience to health misinformation in San Diego County
