Ruth Reichl is a critically acclaimed, best-selling author of Garlic and Sapphires, Tender at the Bone, and Comfort Me with Apples as well as her soon-to-be-released memoir, Save Me the Plums. Delicious! is her first novel. Ms. Reichl was editor-in chief of Gourmet magazine for ten years. She has been honored with 6 James Beard Awards and numerous other honors for her journalism. She holds a B.A. and an M.A. in the History of Art from the University of Michigan and lives in Upstate New York with her husband, Michael Singer, a television news producer.
