Health Education for the Community


Taking Effective Action, Inc. (TEA) will carry out Health Education for the Community (HEC) with a goal to increase knowledge of health conditions affecting African American women, by teaching them where to find credible sources of health information from the National Library of Medicine (NLM). TEA will utilize its longstanding presence in Prince George’s County Maryland, Baltimore County Maryland and established relationships with faith-based and other community organizations to reach residents in this geographic area with emphasis on targeting African Americans.
