We will focus on several different topics of women's health, including heart disease, reproductive safety and health, depression and mental health, eating healthy, working out, cancer, yearly screenings, autoimmune disease, caring for a loved one, and self-defense. We will hold 9 sessions, each one hour long, once per month from August through April. We want the women in our communities to understand and value their own health and wellness. We have a lot of women who have no insurance or are under insured that we see coming into the library asking for materials on different health topics, such as breast cancer and ways to de-stress. We want them to not only know the information from a respectable professional, but also to know that they can go to Aunt Marthas, even with no insurance, and get the help they need to stay healthy.
