The Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System CEFLS in Plattsburgh, New York is seeking an award to raise awareness regarding the topic of domestic violence among residents in Clinton, Essex, and Franklin counties. CEFLS plans to collaborate with STOP Domestic Violence to coordinate a series of events in our shared service area. This will include hosting the National Library of Medicine NLM traveling exhibit Confronting Violence, Improving 92's Lives; providing viewings of the feature documentary, Home Truth, followed by a training session on resources; offering book club and resource discussions addressing domestic violence; and coordinating an awareness event for youth.
