Health Screenings at Your Library

Congratulations to St. Louis County Library for receiving a Public Library Programming Award! The goals of this project are to provide patrons with an overall assessment of their current state of health, and to raise their awareness of authoritative health and wellness information resources. The library will host a community health screening event where participants will have their blood pressure, cholesterol, height, weight, body mass index, tobacco use, and exercise history checked. Library staff will be positioned in the health screening area to show participants how to locate health information.
