Dr. Ali is a board-certified cardiologist, bestselling author, and award-winning medical writer who has published across genres and formats, including medical writing, blogging, prescriptive nonfiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. She holds MD and MSCI (Master of Science in Clinical Investigation) degrees from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where she is now an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine.
