American Library Association Midwinter Implicit Bias, Health Disparities, and Health Literacy Preconference Professional Development Award

Robin Newell from Emporia Public Library requested a professional development award up to $1,500 to attend the preconference titled Implicit Bias, Health Disparities, and Health Literacy which was offered at the American Library Association Midwinter Conference held in Seattle, WA in January 2019. The professional development award was available to library staff that work in public service or programming at public libraries.
